End and Start

I'm saying "good-bye" to the Best Western, the Westerly Hotel and "hello" to the start of something new.
Last Monday I handed in my resignation saying that Saturday would be my last day. So two days left and I'm free as a bird. I do like my job, sometimes, but am ready to do something different. I'm hoping to get a job working outside, doing something physically stimulating. The last thing I need is a job where I sit on my tuchis all day. I was also thinking of getting a coffee shop job part time too. I love coffee shops! Or maybe waitressing. I donno.
The cool thing about all this is that I'm not worried about getting another job. I mean if worrying were a good thing I would have lots of reasons too. I have rent to pay, a car to fill up, travel expenses, and school in the fall (which means that I will be moving [another expense]). But I'm not worried at all. I know that this is all in His hands and by worrying I'm only saying that He isn't big enough to take the drivers seat in my life.
So after the Good Friday service I'm hoping to run around dropping off resumes and maybe end up with a job :)

Can it be?!

Well folks, its official. I have a clean desk. The few things that are on it are supposed to be there. Isn't that amazing?! You should see how spotless it looks; a sight to see. The only reason it's clean however, is not because of my one day getting the urge to keep it nice and tidy, it's because we're selling our house and the real estate agent is coming today to take pictures.
I must admit that I've been hiding stuff in every crick and cranny. My suit case that I got for Christmas has a load of empty binders in it. I've put all the wrong clothes in all the wrong drawers. I hid all my yarn for making toques and such in a big box under my dress clothes that are hanging up in the closet. I guess the important part is that most people who come into my room will see it as clean. The rest of you who know me and who have seen it lately will know that there is more than meets the eye. ;)

Red

The bottom of my hair is red. Well, pinky red, but still red. Karen and I dyed our hair together last Saturday afternoon. Karen did a much better job on me that I did on her, but the end results were still awesome!
Have a look-see at the pictures below.

AHHHHH, what am I doing?
End result!
Karen loves her new hair colour so much she is singing for joy!
And that's that :)
