Classes

I can't believe it. I only have two classes left; three more hours. And then my final exam of course.
I've enjoyed my psychology class a lot, except for the fact that all of our marks are based on exams. When you don't test very well, you kind of wish your professor would want to look at some written work. Oh well, at least I'm well prepared for what my final exam is going to look like.
In other news Karen just found out that she is going to be able to have the full two weeks off of work so she can come home for Christmas with us! I'm super excited that she's coming; we didn't want to leave her here at the house all by herself for Christmas (that would have been quite sad).
Only 30 days until Christmas :)

I shouldn't be doing this...

...I really should be doing school.
When I started my Psychology course at TRU, I was also supposed to be taking a night course on Sociology. I ended up switching to the online version of the Sociology because the whole night class thing didn't work out so well and my prof was strange. I'm not really how else to describe him.
The whole reason that I thought the online thing would be great, is that after years and years of doing school on my own with help from my mom, I figured that I could plow through this course and be finished before the end of the semester.
Wrong.
Because I don't have to attend classes during the week, I continually put Sociology to the side and end up not doing it later.
Today I sat down to actually get some done, but distractions pulled me away once again. Do you how scatterbrained I feel right now?
So now I'm blogging, being distracted from the tasks at hand, and in a few minutes I'm going to go baby-sit for an hour or so for some friends.
Maybe when I return my brain will be here waiting for me and I'll actually get something done.

Music

Pride & Prejudice. What a delightfully wonderful movie. I could seriously just watch it over and over and over and over.... But ultimately the best part of the movie for me, is the music. I mean the rest is great too. On the other hand, the skilfully orchestrated violin and piano pieces move my soul! Seriously I love this music. I guess that's why when I saw the music book for it (advanced level, so that it isn't one of those 5-finger once for little kids) at World of Music (I can't remember what it's actually called now) I had to have it. I totally freaked out inside!
After making my purchase I sat down at my piano (well actually it's just my keyboard, but one can dream) and began playing. Although I haven't mastered any of the pieces yet, I'm really enjoying learning them and can't wait until I sound a little bit more like the soundtrack.
